Chapter Two: The Loch Ness Monster: In Which we Meet the World’s Most Famous Sea Serpent, Whose History has been Rife with Mystery, Controversy, Sensationalism, and Fraud.
I found this section quite hilarious. First of all, an organization called the “Loch Ness Phenomena Investigation Bureau” – LPIB for short – actually existed. Furthermore, Nessie has her own official scientific name: Nessiteras rhombopteryx.
Honestly, I could really care less about the Loch Ness Monster, so I don’t have much to say about this chapter. It mainly focuses on one man’s failed effort to convince the world that the Loch Ness Monster was real, an effort that resulted in the famous picture (above).
